Let’s take a look at Joshua and a very strong message to God’s people. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15 KJVConsider the three elements of the universe. Time, space and matter. We are in a time right now where people are confused about things of spiritual significance. The new age movement tells us we are the universe and can command the universe through crystals. We can channel the energy of icons who died a long time ago and we ourselves can fix anything that is wrong with our world. The world is concerned about filling our space with all sorts of meaningless effort and tokens of worship of the creation rather than the creator. And finally, we are determined to emphasize the importance of all kinds of material stuff or matter that oddly enough does not matter. In short the world is tilted as it travels along. No clear direction because everyone is going their own way. No logic as everyone believes their own values are correct. And no salvation because they don’t even realize they are already dead and they miss the chance to be saved. My beloved ministers of the gospel, we are this very day being called to chose this day whom we will serve. It is simple. Either you will serve God or man. Are you willing to destroy your heavenly reward for a false doctrine. Are you willing to tank your ministry chasing after the Devil’s agenda. Don’t let your proximity dictate your faith. Just because you are walking through the world Daily doesn’t mean you have to attract its pagan ways like lint on black pants. This week dedicate yourself to the premise that you are a redeemed creation of God and you will serve him without reservation, faltering or deviation. Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and he alone can bring us I to the presence of the almighty on that great day of judgement. Keep the ink fresh where your name is written in the book of life. Be blessed and be a blessing.
